This Privacy Policy explains Wimmer Communities (WC) information‐gathering and online policy practices for our website: www.poplarcreektowncenter.com. WC takes privacy rights seriously and has posted this Online Privacy Policy to inform users of which information is collected and how it’s being used. WC’s goal is to collect and use only that information which is necessary to better understand our residents and provide better service. Acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the WC Terms and Conditions for use of POPLARCREEKTOWNCENTER.COM. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy or the Terms and Conditions for use of POPLARCREEKTOWNCENTER.COM, please do not provide us with any information and do not use the site. This privacy policy covers WC’s information collection (through Google analytics and other analytics platforms) and use practices for anyone who uses the POPLARCREEKTOWNCENTER.COM website. In the event you have consented to us performing a background check on behalf of your Property Management, we may also ask for your Social Security Number (SSN) on behalf of your Property Management in order to assist with facilitating an accurate background screening. We will not use or disclose your SSN except as necessary for purpose of running your background check.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We may use your personal information for the following purposes:
providing you with access to and use of the Platforms; completing and processing any transactions you have authorized through the Platforms; communicating with you with respect to your use of the Platforms; and as otherwise required by applicable law.
How We Disclose Your Personal Information
We will not disclose any personal information we collect from you to any third parties except as follows:

-An employee of ours gives your contact details as an emergency contact or a referee.
WC will retain user data for a period up to 26 months from the date captured. However, if user data is submitted through a formal form data retention can exceed 26 months. If WC changes any portion of this Privacy Policy, the change will be posted in this document so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it. WC will not change the use and dissemination practices related to information obtained under a prior version of this Privacy Policy without your prior consent.
